What Still is for
Still is temporal denoise for video. It uses neighbouring frames so noise does not shimmer from one frame to the next.
It keeps the source resolution. If the clip also needs to be larger, follow it with Motion X, or use Atelier X, which runs both.
When to pick Still
Low light footage
Night clips where each frame is noisy on its own.
Compressed video
Footage that picked up block noise from a small export.
Before a grade
Clean the noise before colour, so the grade is not amplifying it.

Does Still upscale?
No. The clip comes back at the same resolution.
Does it invent frames?
No. That is Cadence. Still only denoises the frames you already have.
Still or Motion X?
Still cleans. Motion X enlarges. Atelier X does Still and then Motion X.
