We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — email address, name, and profile details you provide during registration
• Usage data — job history, model selections, file sizes, processing times, and feature usage
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, and referral URLs
• Payment data — billing details are collected and processed directly by Stripe; we do not store your full card number

• Provide, maintain, and improve the UpRes service
• Process your image and video upscaling jobs
• Handle billing, invoicing, and subscription management
• Communicate service updates, security alerts, and support responses
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms
• Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve the platform

3. Data Processing

When you upload a file for upscaling, it is sent to WaveSpeed.ai for AI processing. WaveSpeed.ai processes files on our behalf and does not retain your data beyond the duration of the processing job. All files in transit are encrypted using TLS. Files at rest are stored in encrypted AWS S3 buckets with server-side encryption (AES-256).

• Original uploads — deleted 24 hours after job completion
• Processed results — available for download for 7 days, then permanently deleted
• Account data — retained while your account is active, plus 30 days after account deletion
• Usage logs — retained for 90 days for debugging and abuse prevention

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

UpRes uses essential cookies only. These include session authentication cookies required for the service to function. UpRes is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via the email address associated with your account. The "Effective date" at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
